"Iñaki has masterfully shot many fantastic subjects around the world, among which is the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum by Frank Gehry.
For me, from the moment I saw Iñaki's photographs of it, the museum will be forever related with his name. Maybe each photographer can be represented by one of his subjects. If this is the case, Iñaki's spirit and the Guggenheim Museum's are surely kindred spirits.
Iñaki has the ability and the artistic soul to see the art in the buildings he photographs and the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum is showing this in the highest degree".

"Architecture is an art form. Photography is also an art form.
But when combined, architectural photography is often just a documentary process, recording the vision of the architect and the skills of the labourer. But not always... Sometimes, architectural photography becomes art, when the photographer shares his or her own vision of the structures they photograph. This is one such case: www.ihlphotography.com".

"Iñaki has been a source of inspiration for me for some time now. His unique and often uncommon shots are always an interesting reference to discovering new angles and approach to some of the world's most renowned buildings. His interior design compositions express the feeling, atmosphere and give a good sense of the space. On the other hand, Iñaki's architectural details always seem to have a great balance, symmetry and outstanding flow on the eye".
W. Gurak, Architectural Photographer
"Iñaki's architectural photography is a meticulous search of the perfection trying to show us shapes that have gone unnoticed for us. I have found in it a valuable source of inspiration".
S. del Saz, Photographer
Iñaki Hernández-Lasa is a Spanish amateur photographer living in Ireland for the last 25 years. His passion for photography started at an early age when he used film cameras and slide.
In May 2013, Iñaki received a Fellowship of the Irish Photographic Federation (FIPF) for his work on architectural photography. This is the highest possible distinction awarded by the IPF and Iñaki is the only photographer to have received an FIPF in architectural photography. He has received many other certifications and accolades for his panels which demonstrate not only his technical ability but also cohesion and mastery in challenging compositions, use of light, postprocessing and printing techniques.
Over the last few years, Iñaki has presented his work at numerous photographic societies and has acted as a judge for many of them. In 2013 Iñaki was invited to participate as a judge in an international fine art architectural photography competition with some of the most acclaimed and awarded fine art architectural photographers in the world such as Julia Anna Gosporadou, Joel Tjintjelaar and Akira Takaue amongst others.
Iñaki has photographed some of the most renowned buildings in the world such as the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, the Walt Disney Concert Hall in L.A., Berlin's Reichstag, the Milwaukee Art Museum, the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Chicago, La Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias in Valencia, Dublin Airport's New Terminal 2 or the Grand Canal Theatre in Dublin to name but a few.
